 The New Zealand Ice Fernz are the New Zealand Women's Ice Hockey team.

Ranked number 27 in the world, they currently play in Division IV alongside Iceland, Korea, Romania, Estonia and South Africa.

To the 2011 Ice Fernz who won the gold medal at the IIHF Division IV Women's Championships in Reykjavik, Iceland and will be promoted to Division III in 2012

25th April 2009. The team has just returned from a development camp near Newcastle, Australia. The camp was based at Myuna Bay and trained at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium. The camp comprised of 4 teams, New Zealand, 2 teams from Australia and a team from The Edge School in Calgary, Canada.
